amy pond appreciation week day five: one episode
“i’d forgotten how much i loved being her. amy pond in the tardis. with rory williams.”
“the girl who waited” gives us an amy who’s been left behind, whose natural charm and spunk have long since taken a back seat to survival (and grief). her need for companionship and human connection denied, amy has become a ruthless pragmatist, shutting out her memories of life in time and space as she does what she has to to survive.
